IMPERIAL CREATIVE ACADEMY FOR SCHOOLS
As part of its commitment and community service to building a large company of creative minds in the community, ICS in conjunction with creative partners will be launching its creative workshops/seminar for schools in the next two months. The programme which will move from schools to schools for a period of four months will focus specifically on creative thinking, illustration, animation and career counseling. The target of secondary schools was chosen as a side line on the adage that says “catch them young.” Participants will be encouraged to be involved in the newly created ICS three months special training programme set to begin in August and they will go home with Certificate of participation and handouts; detailing some of the courses by ICS standards.

CLUB CREATE RELAUNCH
ICS Club Create programme is set for relaunch by mid year 2009. It is a platform for students. The programme is being brought back to light due in part to many requests of student and parent. It is an avenue to showcase creatively and also enlighten and educate those who are interested in art to know more on illustration, animation, graphics, comics and digital painting. Details of the programme will be out shortly, it is a one time membership programme and the cost of registering is moderate.

DARKEDGE V COMING OUT SOON!
Following the release of the much awaited Dark Edge iv, enough comments  have been made, these comments has propelled us to put more effort in the 5^th edition, This edition will be illustrated by a different artist, Mr Jide Olusanya.  So our reader should expect the usual suspense and a new style of art which will be in full colour , while the cover page will be done by our creative Director Mr. Ibrahim Ganiyu. In the 5^th edition, we will see the travails of Akim and Abele, we will also know more about the police woman who ended the scene with a bang!
Lovers of Dark Edge comic magazine won’t have to wait for long because, soon, the 5^th edition will be out!

COMIC PUBLISHERS FORUM
In line with ICS initiative and Mustard seed communications (the publishers of Comic Panel), Comic Panel Forum was established. The first meeting was held in the first week of March, while the second meeting was on the 25^th of April 2009. The purpose of this organization is to know the progress in the comic industry. Plans were made on a new distinctive platform for the purpose of selling comics online and also within and outside Nigeria. The meeting was attended by Comic Publishers, Comic lovers and the like. We hope and believe that this organization will help foster the coming together of people that love comic.

AFRICAN BASKETBALL ONLINE
This is an NGO dedicated to promote basketball in and around Nigeria and Africa. This Organization is partnering with ICS in their up coming basketball promotion event to be held at sports centre, University of Lagos, Akoka by August this year. As their creative partner, ICS is developing Mascot, designs, advertising development and general creative ideas that support the good of the organization. We are even in the process of developing a basketball comic book to go alongside the event. We will keep you posted on any development concerning the event.
